Fin Coil
Definition
Fins are small, thin metal strips that help transfer heat. On the condenser coil, these fins help transfer heat away from the coil, cool the refrigerant, and expel heat outside. And on the evaporator coil, these fins help transfer heat into the coil, heat the refrigerant, and soak up heat inside.
