American Standard 20 Series Variable Speed HVAC

Dean Casey explains the energy savings home owners can expect by having their old unit changed out for an American Standard 20 Series variable speed HVAC system.

The American Standard 20 Series is a variable speed HVAC unit. The twenty series is a three ton unit and has 700 speeds in it. It begins running at 25% capacity and when necessary increases speed in small increments (tenths). The American Standard 20 Series is the only unit that offers as much variability in speed. The next closest is a 65 speed unit, so there is no real comparison.

It may be time to consider changing out your old unit for a new energy efficient American Standard 20 Series variable speed unit.
